Who we are
noobquestions is a static technology publication at noobquestions.com. This policy explains what information may be processed when you browse the site.
Information processed when you visit
This website does not require an account and does not request your name, email address, password, or payment information. It offers an optional feedback form on guides; you may submit a rating and message without creating an account.
Our hosting, content-delivery, security, and domain providers may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, date and time, and response status. This information may be used to deliver pages, protect the site, investigate abuse, and maintain reliability.
The site records aggregate page-view counts for individual guides through a Cloudflare-hosted endpoint. The counter is designed to measure page loads and does not require an account or use advertising cookies. Feedback messages and ratings are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and published after automated spam checks; we do not request an email address in the feedback form.
Cookies and similar technologies
noobquestions does not currently use advertising cookies. The first-party page-view counter described above uses a request to record an aggregate count and does not set a browser cookie. Embedded content, such as YouTube videos, may be provided by third parties that use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. You can avoid interacting with embedded content if you do not want to load it.
Embedded and external content
Articles may include videos, images, code references, or links hosted by other websites. Those websites may collect information, set cookies, or process interactions under their own privacy policies. noobquestions is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
Retention and sharing
Technical logs may be retained by our infrastructure providers for security, troubleshooting, billing, and legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the provider and the purpose of the record. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to operate the site, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.
Your choices and questions
You may limit cookies through your browser settings and may choose not to load embedded third-party content. Privacy rights and complaint procedures depend on the laws that apply to you and the services involved. For privacy questions, contact the site operator through the contact method associated with this domain.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or its services change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
